If you find yourself in beautiful Santa Monica, California with a group of people with multiple dietary restrictions head straight to True Food Kitchen on 2nd St. While the restaurant offers valet parking, True Food Kitchen is walkable from many residences and hotels in Santa Monica. The popularity of the restaurant brings a lot of laughter and chatter, but that won’t stop you from hearing your friends, considering the vast amount of seating options with wide spaces between each table. Plus, you’ll find shaded tables outside, high top stools for those looking for a space to work and eat, a bar with seasonal cocktails, beer and wine, and generous space between regular tables.

The Seasonal Menu at True Food Kitchen offers fresh ingredients, and the staff is knowledgeable about all the ingredients listed in every unique dish. In the summer, you’ll find dishes sprouting with zucchini, watermelon, tomatoes, blueberries, and squash. And, their anti-inflammatory diet is the basis of all their dishes. The daily market soup suits most food allergies and changes regularly. Last week, True Food was offering a Chicken and Vegetable soup that exploded with flavor, and left you wanting another bowl. Are you lactose intolerant, and still have bloating because your cart is just loaded with cheese. Try the summer Ingredient salad on weekends, and the Inside Out Quinoa Burger during the week for lunch or dinner. The sheep cheeses in these dishes are easier on your belly.

Love Pizza? Order the same pizza for your gluten-free and vegan friend to enjoy. True Food offers traditional pizzas like the Margherita, and they also have a seasonal favorite like Summer Squash.

Don’t want to give up the BUNS? Try the Inside Out Burger in the summer

Have a Sweet Tooth? Enjoy a seasonal dessert menu. My personal favorite –

The Flourless Chocolate Cake.
