Are you ready? Let’s make some mint and lemon tea…
I’ve been experimenting with anti-inflammatory foods, superfoods, and anything else that has shown to help with pain relief.
Mint is a powerful anti-inflammatory. And paired with lemon juice you can make an easy iced tea recipe in just a few minutes. Only two simple affordable and easy to find ingredients.
And, sometimes, when I want a warm, comforting tea, I enjoy blending peach jam with lemon and mint tea.
This fresh mint iced tea recipe is infused with fresh mint, lemon juice, and peaches. It’s hot, minty, rich, and lip-smacking good…
8 cups cold water
1-ounce fresh mint
2 lemon slices
1/3 cup peach jam
Bring water, fresh mint, and lemon slices in a 6-quart pot to a boil, and then boil for five minutes.
Remove the mint and lemon slices using a slotted spoon. Transfer the liquid to a blender. Add peach jam to the blender, and blend until thin. Serve warm.
If desired, refrigerate peach lemon tea, and serve over ice.
Kitchen Tools: 6-quart pot, blender
