I wish that I could take credit for this amazing banana rum alcoholic coffee. But, it was inspired by my boyfriend who I believe is addicted to Starbucks. He can see her on every block in Los Angeles. They might as well be having an affair.

And, you know what? I’m willing to accept that I have to share him with coffee forever. But, he’s starting to trade his usual Chai Latte from Starbucks for this alcoholic coffee drink.

Why do I love that idea? Because – this banana rum alcoholic coffee contains significantly less sugar which means he will have less inflammation in his body.

That’s a coffee drink that I will share with him and Starbucks, any day.

Banana rum alcoholic coffee is gluten-free, dairy-free, low in sugar, and tastes just like dessert.

Now, this rum isn’t just any rum. It’s made with hemp milk and flavored with brownies, cookies and caramel flavor.

It’s dessert, iced coffee, and bananas blended for a creamy alcoholic coffee. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and low in sugar.

This alcoholic coffee drink is low in sugar and made from almond milk, bananas, iced-coffee, and flavored rum.

Now, I’m NOT going to recommend you drink and then drive to work. But, you can make this drink for breakfast. However, my favorite time to make this alcoholic coffee is for brunch while I binge watch my favorite shows on Netflix.

Banana Rum Alcoholic Coffee

Description

A creamy alcoholic coffee with a hint of banana, brownies, and cookies


Ingredients

2 ice cubes

¼ cup almond milk

¼ cup medium-roast iced-coffee

½ – 1 frozen banana

1-1.5 ounces rum (recommend Bom Bom Fully Baked)


Instructions

Blend ingredients in the following order: ice, milk, coffee, banana, and rum on low (number 1) and gradually increase to low-medium (number 4) for 45 seconds.

Notes

I recommend peeling and slicing a banana, placing it in a freezer safe container, and then separating the slices before adding them to the blender.

You can use half a frozen banana for a thinner drink or a full frozen banana for a thicker drink.

You can also double the recipe.
