Welcome To Chew This Up
I’m happy you found Chew This Up.
When I needed to follow a Gluten Free lifestyle, I was was very lost. I only knew one restaurant that offered gluten free pasta. And, after I threw away five trash bags with gluten, I didn’t know what to buy. My kitchen was empty, and that was a scary feeling.
I had friends and family come to my home who also had food allergies. In the beginning, it seemed like a daunting task just to find gluten products for me. But, I also had to make meals to accommodate everyone else’s food allergies.
So I created Chew This Up to offer you allergy friendly recipes and a guide to living gluten free anywhere in the world. I developed an easy to use gluten free recipes page, and you can filter recipes to fit multiple food allergies.
Gluten Free Resources
The Gluten Free Recipes page offers 35 different categories that you can filter to find a recipe that fits your needs.
You can expect to find dairy free recipes, grain free recipes, main dishes, 30 minute recipes and my favorite pasta recipes.
I love the gluten-free everywhere page. It offers entertainment recipes for large families and groups, travel recommendations, breakfast boxes, lunch boxes, and my personal favorite gluten free guides.
Gluten-Free Guides will give you lists of everything you will need for living gluten-free. My personal favorite is the list of gluten-free and vegan options at Starbucks. If you need a list of anything gluten-free, please contact me at [email protected]
I write product reviews for my favorite brands that offer gluten-free options. I link all my recipes to the products that I used, so you know what to buy.
And, I developed a subscription page that outlines my favorite subscription services. You’ll find grocery delivery services, magazine subscriptions, face products, and more. I’m in love with Instacart who shops and delivers all my groceries.
Also, you’ll find international food events so you can continue to enjoy food culture without worrying about finding gluten-free options.
I dream of food. I daydream about food. I smell of oranges. I wake up in the middle of the night to take notes for recipes. Oh, is that the same thing? You get the idea.
When I’m not blogging, I go snorkeling, shop on Amazon, and hunt for gluten-free chocolate.
I spent twelve years working with children with Autism. During my last four years as a Behavior Analyst, I learned that many of my clients were improving with a gluten-free lifestyle.
And, while I was traveling to see clients, I struggled to find healthy gluten-free choices. I started creating gluten-free lunch boxes. Depending on the week, I made lunch boxes that would remain fresh all day, high carbohydrate lunch boxes, and some that would last all week so I only needed to pack on Mondays. Don’t forget to check out the allergy friendly lunch boxes.
I live in Los Angeles. Are we neighbors? Please check out the Los Angeles Guidebook which contains restaurant reviews and food truck reviews. If you find a new favorite place, tag a photo, and use #glutenfreelaguide or #glutenfreeanytimeanywhere.
